The Alloy client dashboard was unavailable from 10:56 to 11:29 AM EST this morning, an outage of approximately 33 minutes. The incident was caused by the combination of a backup system being down at the same time we experienced some intermittent application instability that we are addressing. This incident was greatly exacerbated by some of our messaging systems being down at the same time, so the alerts were slower to be picked up. In response to this, we are working on 1) solving the underlying issues related to this downtime and 2) creating more reliable backup alerting systems.
